We know that the journey to VBAC can be confusing, overwhelming and sometimes leaving you to feel like you’re spinning in circles trying to find the right answers. And that’s why we’ve made it our mission to make birth after cesarean better by providing support and evidence-based information.
We believe in your ability to birth your way, no matter what that looks like. Our goal is to always educate and empower you along the way. We continually hear so many positive stories from VBAC and HBAC parents and doulas who have loved our podcast or our courses and yet… they don’t even realize the many more things we’re providing!
Consider this your one-stop overview for all things VBAC. Here you’ll find details and links to every type of support we provide – resources, education, podcast, community, shop and Instagram. We hope you’ll return again and again as a jumping off point to your VBAC research and needs. And, feel free to share this page with your provider, family & friends, doula and other mamas on their own VBAC journey.
1. Free Resources
Here at The VBAC Link, we want to help everyone – VBAC parents, birth workers and support persons – find the right resources for pregnancy, birth and postpartum in a straightforward way.
The VBAC Link Blog
Here, we share VBAC-specific evidence-based information ranging from the best books to read during your VBAC preparation, to the best VBAC induction methods and how safe they are, to possible C-Section complications years later.
Find a VBAC Doula
Are you planning a VBAC delivery? Make it easier on yourself by working with a trained VBAC doula. Over 100,000 mamas searched our free directory of VBAC-trained doulas in the last three months to find a VBAC doula armed with facts and confident in supporting parents birthing after Cesarean.
Supportive Providers
We know that finding a supportive provider can be one of the toughest parts of your VBAC experience. Many of us have been faced with VBAC bans or VBAC tolerant providers, and sometimes the very first hurdle we have to jump is finding a provider who can truly support our birth wishes. We offer several tips for navigating this on our blog, and we also keep a running database of supportive providers that we can share with you if you send us an email.
One-on-One Consult
As the founder of The VBAC Link and The VBAC Link Podcast, a seasoned doula and a CBAC and VBA2C mom herself, Meagan is extremely passionate about supporting other moms and helping them make choices that are right for them. She has a unique ability to help you process your past birth(s), walk you through options moving forward and offer the information and encouragement that can sometimes be hard to find elsewhere.
Labor Playlists
Music has the potential to transform an experience, and that’s no different during labor. We’ve curated two different playlists that you can play during labor or use as a starting point to create your own. We think you’ll love both our Labor Stage and Pushing Stage playlists.
Email Newsletter
Get the most up-to-date information about what we’re doing, what’s happening in the VBAC world and all of the new ways we’re supporting VBAC, HBAC, VBAMC and CBAC families by subscribing to Meagan’s weekly newsletter. We don’t take for granted the joy it is to stay in touch with you, so we consistently create content that is thoughtful, relevant and encouraging for your VBAC journey.
2. Educational Courses
In an ideal world, VBAC parents would be treated just like any other birthing parents. Unfortunately, that isn’t always our reality. Our VBAC parents course provides parents the foundation they need to feel confident about their choice to VBAC or HBAC, and our doula training course equips our doulas with facts, statistics and more to increase their ability and confidence in supporting parents birthing after Cesarean.
We have been incredibly intentional to design and prepare the most comprehensive parent and doula VBAC trainings available. You can take our online courses at your own pace and learn in the comfort of your own home. The road to VBAC or HBAC is a unique one, and our courses help you, as a parent or doula, feel more confident, empowered and prepared for the VBAC birth experience.

Advanced VBAC Doula Certification customer3. Podcast
If you’re looking for the #1 VBAC podcast available, this is it. Sharing one to two episodes every week, our podcast offers powerful birth stories, prominent guest interviews and timely discussions. We feel so privileged to be a platform for others to share their vulnerable, inspiring, life-transforming VBAC, HBAC, VBAMC and CBAC birth stories. Plus, we make it a priority to host guests who are doing dynamic work in the birthing space as well as facilitate conversations that are pertinent to those on a VBAC journey.
You can find all of our episodes of the The VBAC Link Podcast on Apple Podcasts or Spotify. And if you’re already a devoted listener (we love you!), please remember to leave us a review so that we can continue to reach more and more VBAC families.
“I found this podcast around week 30 of my second pregnancy by searching for ‘VBAC.’ I had a traumatic c section in 2019, and I knew I did not want to go through that again. It was helpful for me to learn evidence on VBAC, how to advocate for myself and healing to listen to others stories. I just had my second child by VBAC, and I thank you for the role you played in that.”

Feeling supported, like you’re not alone, like you’re truly part of a community is not only helpful but incredibly important on your VBAC journey. We’ve been very intentional about creating spaces for VBAC, HBAC, VBAMC and CBAC moms to connect.
The VBAC Link Community is a Facebook group of nearly 18,000 members. Our goal in this group is to offer a place for questions, encouragement, sharing stories and connection over any and all parts of the VBAC journey. On any given day, you’ll find women of strength engaging with one another, offering advice, celebrating together and holding space for each other. And you can rest assured, this group is monitored very closely for negativity.
Additionally, we manage CBAC Support, another Facebook group that serves a vital purpose – connecting those who planned and prepared for a VBAC but had a Cesarean birth after Cesarean (CBAC) instead for one reason or another. The CBAC experience is a unique one, one that deserves its very own space. We want to provide our CBAC friends with all of the love, encouragement, support and guidance possible, including connecting them with others who have been where they are.
5. Shop
Using our team’s personal and professional experiences with birth, VBAC and postpartum, we organized a super comprehensive Amazon storefront. You will find everything from books to prepare for your VBAC to what to pack for the hospital to post-Cesarean scar care and much more. Our hope is that this collection will make your journey a bit easier as you juggle life with your kiddo(s) and prepare for your dream birth. And we love to hear your suggestions for products you’ve used and loved!
