This course was very thorough. I've been a Doula for many years now, and there was some concern that I would be bored with the course, or not learn much that I didn't already know. This course was monumental in getting me to seriously get educated on how to best support clients pursuing VBACs. It also really invigorated me to advocate for my clients in a different way, by equipping me with the knowledge that backed up what my gut already knew: repeat cesareans are rarely necessary. I am definitely better equipped now, and this year for the first time in 4 years, I have had no emergency cesarean births. All my VBAC clients this year were successful in their pursuit, and felt empowered to go for the birth they desired. That is definitely due in part to this course, and the other courses it led me to (additional VBAC resources, advocacy training, etc.) You can also get equipped with tools to help you better serve your VBAC clients.

This course is a MUST for doulas who want to support VBAC clients!

I love this VBAC Doula course! The information Julie and Meagan provide is very beneficial to anyone planning for a VBAC or supporting a TOLAC client! The course is based on findings from the latest research in the industry. It is delivered in a caring, empathetic, and heart-felt manner. VBAC birth has changed since I've had mine, and I need to know the latest to best serve my clients. I also need to be sensitive to their individual needs. Because of this course, I feel much better prepared to support them.

I cannot say enough positive things about the training provided here by Megan and Julie. Knowing ways to better support your clients and have evidence based information to provide to them brings a whole new level of confidence both to myself but my clients as well. Their down to earth approach allows you to feel like you're having an organic conversation (or listening to their podcast, also great by the way!) and feels less like a stuffy training.

TOLAC/VBAC should be treated just like any other birthing person, but there is certain preparation and information that needs to be offered to them, and your course covered that. The value is held in your careful recognition of how best support our clients who are doing a TOLAC.

I cannot praise you two enough for the fear release activity. Honestly, it is something I can apply to even myself, before and after a birth, and even in life in general. Thank you for that. It has already helped three of my VBAC clients!
